All information listed in a ChurchSpace booking shall be true and accurate, and, if the church accepts a booking, the church will deliver the space to the booking guest under the terms and the price specified in the listing.

Any and all content, including images, captured by ChurchSpace are owned by ChurchSpace and can be used at the discretion of the company. This content, including images, can not be used for promotional purposes by the church on competitor sites or platforms.

The church is responsible for keeping its listing information (including calendar availability) and content (like photos) up-to-date and accurate at all times.

The church has full discretion over its space prior to booking and may accept or decline a requested booking for any or no reason; space is not booked until the church confirms.

The church will abide by and be subject to the ChurchSpace Cancellation Policy and will adhere to the terms the church publishes in its ChurchSpace listing.

The church agrees not to cancel a listing except for an extenuating circumstance beyond the control of the church (e.g., damage to the space affecting its usability).  The church agrees that a cancellation without such a basis may result in loss of eligibility to use the ChurchSpace platform, and that the church is solely responsible to the guest for any damages arising from such a cancellation.

ChurchSpace will be entitled to a fee of 20% of all amounts paid to the church for a booking; the balance of the booking fee will go to the church.  ChurchSpace will require full payment at the time of booking and will hold the funds until either cancellation or fulfillment of the booking.  The funds will be paid to the church, less ChurchSpace’s fee, once the booking is fulfilled, or, if the booking is canceled, the deposit/forfeited booking fee will be paid to the church at that time, less ChurchSpace’s fee.

Though ChurchSpace provides information to help the church make an assessment, ChurchSpace is not responsible for determining the financial or tax impact for the church of renting its space. You agree that you are not relying on any statement of law made by ChurchSpace.

The church may not assign this agreement or fulfillment of a booking to anyone else.

The church is responsible for understanding and complying with all relevant laws and regulations, including any local health and safety requirements and applicable privacy laws about the personal data of guests and others.

The church’s relationship with ChurchSpace is that of an independent individual or entity and not an employee, agent, joint venturer, or partner of ChurchSpace, except that ChurchSpace acts as a payment collection agent. ChurchSpace does not direct or control the church’s space, and the church agrees that the church has complete discretion whether and when to provide spaces and at what price and on what terms to offer them.

The church must describe any and all fees and charges in its listing description and may not collect any additional fees or charges for a booking outside the ChurchSpace platform.

The church is responsible and liable for its own acts and omissions.

The church acknowledges that hosting carries inherent risks and agrees that the church assumes the entire risk arising out of the church’s access to and use of the ChurchSpace platform, or offering space, or any interaction with guests, whether in person or online, except to the extent covered by the Guest’s insurance coverage.

If the church cancels its ChurchSpace account, any confirmed booking(s) will automatically be canceled, and guests will receive a full refund.  The church will not be entitled to a restoration of its account or any content.

The church agrees that ChurchSpace may delete or modify any offensive, inaccurate, or unlawful content in the church’s listing(s).

If (i) the church breaches these terms, (ii) the church violates applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights, or (iii) ChurchSpace believes it is reasonably necessary to protect ChurchSpace, guests, or third parties, ChurchSpace may, with or without prior notice:

I have not booked the requested space until I receive confirmation from the church, and that a church has full discretion over its space and may accept or decline my requested booking for any or no reason.  

I will provide true and accurate information to the church when requesting a booking, with no material omissions that I could reasonably expect to affect the church’s decision about whether to accept my booking.

I will pay in full for the booking when my requested booking is confirmed, plus, if applicable, any required security deposit.  I will abide by and be subject to the ChurchSpace Cancellation Policy and the cancellation terms in the listing. 

I/my group will use the space only for the purpose and for the period specified in my booking.

All set-up and clean-up must be accomplished within the reserved time, and the space must be cleaned and all items brought in must be removed from the premises at the conclusion of the reservation time.  

I will not use the space in connection with promoting any candidate for political office, or to house anyone.

I may not assign use of the space or this agreement to anyone else. 

I/my group will abide by all relevant laws and regulations, including any local health and safety requirements. 

I/my group will abide by all of the Host Rules for use of the space. 

My payment will include a non-refundable deposit if required by the listing.  ChurchSpace reserves the right to consider additional charges and fees if the church informs ChurchSpace of damages caused by me/my group, within three business days of fulfillment of the booking.

My/my group’s relationship with ChurchSpace is that of an independent individual or entity and not an employee, agent, joint venturer, or partner of ChurchSpace, except that ChurchSpace acts as a payment collection agent on behalf of host churches. ChurchSpace does not direct or control the space of host churches, and the host church has complete discretion whether and when to provide spaces and at what price and on what terms to offer them.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and except for ChurchSpace’s obligation to refund payments to me under the rules of the listing I have booked, I/my group agree(s) to release, defend (at ChurchSpace’s option), indemnify, and hold ChurchSpace harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (i) my breach of these terms, (ii) my improper use of the ChurchSpace platform, (iii) my interaction with the host church, other participants in the booking, or any guest, including without limitation any injuries, losses or damages (whether compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of such interaction, stay, participation or use, or (iv) my/my group’s breach of any laws, regulations or third party rights. 

I agree that ChurchSpace may delete or modify any offensive, inaccurate, or unlawful content in my booking requests.

If (i) I/my group breach(es) these terms, (ii) I/my group violate(s) applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights, or (iii) ChurchSpace believes it is reasonably necessary to protect ChurchSpace, host churches, guests, or third parties, ChurchSpace may, with or without prior notice:
